Mr. Jacobi teaches Two Dimensional Art, which includes drawing, painting, and printmaking. He has a BFA from College for Creative Studies, and a MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) from Wayne State University with a 4.0 GPA. State of Michigan certification in Art Education (LX) K-12.
Prior to coming to AAW, Mr. Jacobi worked as an award-winning illustrator in the Detroit area for twenty years, and was an Instructor of Illustration at College for Creative Studies in Detroit.
Mr. Jacobi is also an accomplished guitarist. He has recorded and toured nationally with Sky King, performed on stage with jazz legend Dave Brubeck, and has opened shows for a diverse list of musicians including Rush, Hall and Oates, Billy Joel, and Muddy Waters.
